Lectures are free of charge and open to all, beginning at 7pm.

Booking is advisable for all lectures. Seats may be reserved through Taunton School's Events Team.

A senior British Conservative politician and novelist, who served in the governments of Margaret Thatcher and John Major between 1979 and his retirement in 1995. Viewed as one of the Conservative Party's senior elder statesman, he is a patron of the Tory Reform Group, and remains an active figure in public life.
 
Hurd is currently a Member of the Global Leadership Foundation, an organization which works to promote good governance around the world.
